There were some wine holders in the last issue of "the other magazine". They are actually quite complicated, but I am sure they would give you something to work on. They are on my "to do" list, which appears to be growing daily. I have also seen some of the "balancing wine holders" on one of the free patterns sites, but cannot remember which - can anyone else?
Cheers

| Carl, maybe you haven't gotten the latest issue. It has a nice article on making inlay coasters. Even wine drinkers need to keep the table-top clean! Make an inlay shaped like a bunch of grapes and dye the inlay purple. Or maybe a corkscrew inlay or wineglass (half full, of course). |

| good idea Mike. I did my issue this week.
Now that you mention it the coasters are a great idea. I might even enlarge one big enough to look like the end of a wine keg and use it for a clock

In the January 2007 issue of the "other" magazine there is an intarsia Project called "Wine Country, see it here: Creative Woodworks & Crafts January 2007 Issue

| How About Wine Glass Tags?
I Have Seen Them In Metal But With Just A Bit Of Modification They Could Be Adapted To Wood.
Cut Out Small Figures.....birds, Dogs, leaves, stars, diamonds, Anything In A Small Piece Of Wood And Attach A Small Metal Ring (hobby Lobby) To Clip Them To The Stem Of The Wine Glass So You Can Tell Whose Drinking Glass Is Whose.....
They Would Be Small, Quick To Cut, Can Be Cut In Multiples, And Sold In Groups Of Four Or Eight...
Your Investment Should Be Small (scrap Pieces) And Profit Reasonable And You Will Get Them On The Shelf At The Store Quickly..

| Hey Gang,
I had to step in and delete a post here. Tehas Wood Products called; they found a track back link to our site where someone suggested "stealing" their ideas. That's a violation of their copyright, and not something we support on the site here!

| Bob, sorry, that was me. I wasn't trying to infringe Tehas, but provide some ideas.
