Any reputable dealer wouldnotify a customer if something is on backorder as soon as possibe, not wait for the customer to inquire a bunch of times first. And, if an item is backordered, the payment should not be taken until the product is packaged and shipped, at least thats my thoughts on it. Of course, theres always exceptions, and (big word alert) extenuating circumstances , but either way, I hope it works out for you!

Dog, you need to chill........... if it's back ordered, it's back ordered. If you can't wait any longer, and you have a credible credit card company, they will give you a credit, but you can't claim fraud. After a refund is given, you then can not take delivery of the item, or it will be fraud on your part, or even theft by deception.
I have to be the most relaxed person on the planet. So "To Chill" is not an issue. I could see if I had gotten a response after my first call to them I would be fine. But, several calls and emails and nothing. Sure I understand things happen, but I'm also not a fool. Do a search on his name and you will see he's having legal issues for.......I guess you could say theft in a way. I asked for a refund from him...No response..Guess he's paying his legal fees.

Also, I have recieved SEVERAL Private msgs from members as well as emails saying other folks are having the same issue with recieving items or even monies owed.

He should take down the site and stop advertising something he's not going to deliver!! Lucky788 is also on the right track with his answer

Folks

For the record, I have ordered items from online retailers that have been back ordered. I get an email saying the item is back ordered. I ge a call or something. I'm not charged until my order is filled. I know how BACKORDER works. really I do. I HAVE GOT NO INFORMATION from Mr Zaffino regarding my order after all my emails..(correction one email saying it's back order but we still took your money)!!!

I also asked for a refund..Nope..we still took your money. OK, Please, can I have my money back that I earned...Nope..I took your money for something I did not deliver. GOOD LORD MAN

Lets pretend I changed my mind and wanted a refund before the item being delivered..???? Shoud I get the refund. I think so.

Like I said, I'm not the only one having this issue with him and his ways. JEFF ZAFFINO..I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!

Nothing will change my mind on what I think he is doing. His track record ain't the best. Wish I would of known all this before I made the order!! Do some research folks. Please, I'm not the bad guy here

G'day Browndog,
I'm behind you 100%.
If you order something in good faith and it can not be delivered in the time specified you SHOULD have the option or a back order or cancelling and getting your money back. Actually, you shouldn't have that option as the supplier shouldn't have taken your hard earned cash until they are able to supply the goods.

HAve you gotten onto your credit card Co and asked them to cancel payment ???????????

Good luck

I've only had one dealing with JZ but it all went well. Of course, that was before all the stuff happened that we've read about. He did promise me something but he didn't deliver like he said he would. I'm happy that there was no money involved. David

Well, I have to agree. Communication is crucial in this. I know from experience. I have been homeless more times than I can count so I, too, had a bad habit of taking too long. Luckily, I learn from my mistakes. The issue isn't back order, it's poor customer service. If you take on a business and you can't be there for correspondance then have someone cover for you. With that being said, if anyone ever tries to contact me (on a weekday) and you get no response then email my brother Cliff cliffhangertx@embarqmail.com
I GUARANTEE same day or next weekday response. If you don't get a response, it could mean you went to my spam folder. You can also private message me here.

You know, after reading this thread, it got me to thinking about this Wildlife Portraits in Wood: 30 Patterns to Capture the Beauty of Nature book.It probably has enough info in it and patterns to keep anyone busy for a few hours, and, its NOT on backorder I dont think. Also, its author ^^^^^^^ posted right above me, easy to get ahold of, and its publisher is the ones who provide us this great forum!!!
