Posts: 1 Disappointed customer of Jeff Zaffino
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I came across this forum while searching for a way to obtain a reply from Jeff Zaffino, after 7 months of unanswered emails and phone calls to him. Here I discovered that I am not alone in my frustration and disappointment as a customer of his. A little history: I received a beautiful scroll portrait of his as a gift several years ago, and so placed an order myself in Aug. 07. After months of waiting for the prepaid item, I received the order late Dec.07 which I was VERY UNSATISFIED with. I immediately notified him and received a nice response promising to "correct the problem".
Since that email on Jan.3,08, I have sent numerous emails, at least one postal letter and placed even more phone calls, NONE of which have been answered. I am open to any suggestions. |

| i had a problem only once with jeff. i ordered a gross of blades and after 10 days i emailed him and got a response the same day. apparently, the blades got lost in the mail and he sent out another gross. these weren't cheap blades, either. i hope they show up some day so i can sent them back to him. i personally have to applaud jeff for the time and energy he puts into his business. pattern making to his expertise is a time consuming task and he is driven to do it. not only that but everything he sells is of high quality. |

As for the posts applauding him for his talent, and dedication, I best not comment, as my views on his lack of morals, his poor respect for his customers and the REAL artists behind his designs, and some of his other tactics leave a lot to be desired in my opinion.

| I would like to know if their are any other sites out there that has the same quality and interesting patters as Zaffinos. I personally am done with him. You have to admit, their are some very nice patterns there. Most sites offer pattetrns of ducks, and chickins. And although they may be cute, PLEASE-enough with the portraits. RAIN MAN

| Charlie Deering comes to mind, he does some magnificent work.
Just an after thought. I would have thought that with his significant "OOPs" (which I am sure he has paid for dearly) that he would be doing everything in his power to try and restore customer confidence.

| Thanks for the plug Bill (your check's in the mail, hehehehe). I don't have any chickens or ducks but I may have a loon or 2, LOL.
Another terrific designer is Tom Mullane, IMHO he's one of the very best.
