G'day Mike, Great cuttings. Number 1 is nice, but my favourite is Willie, because I like country music has nothing to do with the choice

Thanks all for your kind remarks about my first cuttings. Positive feedback certainly encourages continued work. Browndog, The "lion mask" pattern you referred to was in issue 30, Spring 2008 "Scrollsaw Woodworking & Crafts" magazine. Mikej Last edited by BobD; 06-25-2008 at 11:28 AM. |

Very nice! My favourite's the horse's head. I like the simple but bold lines which evoke the strength and power of the animal without overwhelming with detail. Likewise, the Man in Black says a lot, simply (perfect for the subject!) I also really like seeing great work from somebody on the early end of the learning curve. Gives me hope! --Rob |

mikej, very nice cuttings for a beginner. I like all of them but my favorites would be Johnny and Willie. Many years ago I got to see that Cadillac that Johnny built from parts he brouight home from the factory. Someone actually built one from all different year Cadillacs, it was sitting outside their home near Nashville. Tell us about your saw, which one you have and what you like or dislike about it.
