Default Signs signs signs! :)

I have been cutting a lot of custom signs lately. Here are a couple.

The first one is surely one of the oddest requests I have had. A lady wanted me to cut a wedding plaque for two friends who are getting married this summer. He collects Penguin memorabilia and she Alpaca memorabilia ... and she wanted this on the plaque. I used a very nice wedding pattern by "Scrollpter a.k.a. Raymond Adams" that I got from one of the free sites a few years ago and accomodated the names, dates, and ... er ... animals. lol The lady loves the sign ... I just hope the receipients feel the same way. ha ha!

The second sign I just finished today...the pic is the sign without the finish on it. This one is for a guy's office who sells used car parts. His wife is thrilled with it and is gifting it for his upcoming birthday.

Both signs employ a lot of inlay and segmentation. I must say it's a lot of fun cutting them.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice Kerry. The inlay-segmentation work is top notch and the visual balance of both is very even.

Nice signs there! I'll bet they were fun to cut. The inlay and segmenting look top notch!

G'day Kerry,
Very nice, like you I'm not sure how well the "Penguin and Alpaca" will go down.
I like the other, but wont show it to the War Office or she'll be ordering one from you for my shed with "John's Junk" LOL

I saw one a while ago hand painted on a blokes gate, I'm sure you could do something with it.

Nice Kerry. I really enjoy doing sign's and plaques too. Its a nice break from fretwork pictures and you can really get creative.
