Default Some new projects

Hi All,

Here are a few of my latest cuttings.

The first is a Sue Mey design made out of luan.

The second is a pattern from CWC web site made from stacked 1/4" oak ply. As an experiment I put 10 sheets of 20lb computer paper between the plys. Result is the third photo.

Backer is 3/8" BB beveled to 15 degrees with a cherry stain and matte finish.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers,
Don

Nicely cut, Don. Those kittens are cute. I must admit there's something about that horse pattern I'm not too keen - the pattern not your cutting . When i looked at it in the magzine I thought the eye area looked odd - but maybe that's just me ..

Looks like the paper cutting worked well for you ..

Thank you all for the compliments.

PuzzledMoose, the horse does look like it has a "black" eye. Perhaps the pattern was of a paint with dark eyes???
Next time I cut it I'll close up the area around the eye some.
