Birdhouse ideas? - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board

A local church holds an annual auction of birdhouses. Proceeds go to several charities including the Baptists Children's Home. Last year I did an intarsia cat's head (door was it's mouth).

This year, I am coming up empty and the internet has left me uninspired. Any ideas / patterns?

i used to make some log cabin birdhouses. people loved them and sold a bunch, but too much work put into them. iffen yer interested in the idea, let me know.

Any bird houses we've made have been taken over by squirrels! They chew a larger hole and move themselves in!
