Dave, I certainly hope you do join again next year. I was a bit too late to join, but have enjoyed hearing about it. I know I want to be part of it next year. For something large like this (and through no real fault of anyone) there is often one or two snafu's that occur, and unfortunately you were the lucky recipient of that piece of bad luck this year. Next year, it will be someone else's turn I am sure (but hope no one gets it). Glad you are looking forward to next year's to make a fresh start.

This sounds like fun. I wish I had been checking this website more often last year - didn't think there were any active scrolling forums (forgot that I had signed up over two years ago).

I'll be ready for 2008's exchange!

Finally looked at the dates. I was reading the posts and all of a sudden Marsha is cutting it off and you guys are talking about getting your swaps. How the heck did you guys respond so fast, and snail mail is not that fast, LOL.
If Marsha or anyone else is willing to do that much work to organize this I would like to join in. My wife did this for years with her Great Dane group but the gifts we got were so exspencive that she dropped out. She would send home made dog biscuits, which was the kind of things it was supposed to be about. The last time we got 4 packages from different people with balls toys etc. It was several hundred dollars worth of stuff.
These people ment well and maybe they could afford it but for us it ruined the whole idea behind the swap. We ended up feeling guilty sending what we did.
after reading last years post I am in. not sure how many I can afford to mail so will wait to see how it shapes up as to doing all or some.

Alan.
