Default Got offered...

$150 for the chess board (the one on this thread).

I hadn't really intended to sell it. I spent aprox 10 hours of construction, plus materials...yet I still feel like I am accepting too much money for this.

Thoughts?

Don't ever sell yourself too short.
If you feel you are making enough money to cover your time and enjoyment then thats a good thing.
I once sold a Noah's Ark plaque at a fair for $25. It was on an old cupboard door and took me well over a week to make. I still kick myself

I'm with Carl - that doesn't seem too much to me for all that work - especially as someone is willing to pay it!

If I spent 10 hours on something it would sell for over $200 depending on materials. $150 is a bargain.

Thanks guys...I guess I needed someone else to tell me that I wasn't taking too much money for my work. I really appreciate the responses.

Since pictures don't really portray the true impact of workmanship on a piece of work, I agree with Kevin that they got a bargain. Have you ever priced a retail wooden chess set? Check this out If I were you, I wouldn't feel bad at all. I'd be jumping for joy to recoup some $$$ for my time and supplies. Watch out, maybe you'll get more orders!
