Default wanted: portriat pattern help

my father gave me this pic of a close friend of his, this is an old school picture and he say's "she smiles with her eyes" would some of you great protrait pattern makers give this one a shot, and lets see if the eye's can smile in a scroll saw pattern. Thanks so much for any help i can get. Dad want's to give this as a gift to his friend. note: dad is the one that introduced me to scrolling about a yr an a half ago. would be a great way to say, "thanks dad".

I gave it a shot as well . Not sure which way I like the hair so I offer it both ways . If this is headed in the right direction I will be happy to make any changes you want . If it doesn't work for you, that's OK too, thanx very much for the opportunity to practice

wow, thanks so much guys. i think with a combination of everyone's postings i have a lot to work with. i'll post the final piece after i get it cut. it is so interesting to see the differant interpretation of the same pic. thanks again for you help, this will mean the world to dad.
