A ways back there was a post on what we were working on now, and I said that I had a couple projects before I could get any carving done.....her's one project out of the way. Randy, I believe the PO box doors are available through www.rockler.com * *I found some at half their price at (believe it or not) the Norht American Model Engineering Exposition last year in Southgate, MI. *don't know where the expo was held this year or if that same vendor was still around. *You may want to inquire at www.modelengineeringsoc.com * They may have information on their vendors. If you get a chance, these model engineering shows are really something to see.....they even have some wood carving and wood working as part of their design processes (patternmakers) as in model parts for metal castings. i recently was at a show where someone had used p.o. doors and had built boxes to fit around them,but your project does them one better. i think we all dable in various woodworking projects to in nice to see what others are making |

Al, Well done......I've never saw a PO Box door used like that B4, great concept and well put together. Thats a great piece to keep passing down to the kids and grand kids, will bring much joy and fond memories. Glad you put it up on the site. Coffeeman |
