New to site

welcome to the group,i am a relatively new carver and one thing i learned is that every one has something to contribute.a new -different-or easier way of doing something.

I have 2-3 yrs of carving under my belt, and the members of the board have just helped me in so many ways. You will learn just by reading these messages on a regular basis. I also learn from looking at the pics that get posted, it gets my ideas flowing.

I think the other members have set up a picture trail site to post pics; this message board software doesn't support uploading photos directly. We are in the process of upgrading the board, and will be able to upload directly as soon as that is done, but we can't yet. Let me also welcome you to the greatest carving message board out there. I'm privilaged to meet with all these great carvers...and have learned a lot from them already.

Al, you can go to this site and post your own pictures and view a ;ot of the other's stuff. *Not just carvings but tools, jigs, a pattern or two etc.
