you had a basement

bet you even had running water
hot and cold running water
and idoor plumbing

I thought running water was a fast moving creek
and indoor plumbing was a big bucket

Our creek dried up in the summers! :'(

Indoor plumbing? you whippersnapper! *I remember my Dad and my uncles putting a bathroom in my grandmothers house....more exciting than the moon shot! LOL (more practical too!

) Oh, that house by the way, my uncle paid $150.00 for it! :P

The closest thing we had to plumbing was the still out back.

My pappy also told us that lying would cause us to loose all of our hair.

And all this time I thought losing my hair was due to my ancestry. Sure had a lot of fibbers in my family, my grandmothers were even getting pretty thin in the hair department. You just can't believe anyone anymore!!
