Like bridges to help cross a river! ALA, Bet most don't remember Howdy Doddy and Claribelle. How aboutAndy Divine saying,' Plunk your magic twanger frogie'? I believe the serial movie was a a boy and his elephant in India! Getting to old to remember all of it. Anyways the little bride says I am forgetful. Hmmmmmmm Maybe only when I want to be.

Kenny_S Thought I was the only one who remembered the 'Smilin Ed Show' (think that was the name). I believe Andy Devine was the last 'host' who always started out the series film about the kit in India who ran errands and did small jobs for the maharajah. Also had Midnight the cat and Squeaky the mouse on the show as well as the frog in the magic clock. Sure didn't take much to entertain me in those days! If you recall Andy Devine also played Wild Bill Hickok's (played by Guy Madison) sidekick. Guess I've showed enough of my age so will shutup. |
