Hi Gang, My wife complains that I spend far too much time carving and on this message board. I just realized that I just reached the 1000 post mark so I guess she is probably right. I also manage to do at least a carving a day and also look after my 11 year old grandson full time when my daugher works. I tell her I could be out drinking and chasing women so things could be worse. You know I could be doing that my only problem is remembering what to do if I caught one? ???Colin |

My mind remembers what to do Only problem is my body doesn't My other half has strange sleeping habbits She stays up most of the night and sleeps all day so I get up around 7 or 8 and since I am no longer able to work just sit here alone during the day till she decides to get up. She usually gets up around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I spend my day with my legs propped up, either playing around on the PC or cutting on a piece of wood. Did a lot of fishing during the summer, hence I was away from the computer and did not comment here on the board nor did I get very much carving done either. I did catch a lot of catfish though. Good eating. Did manage to get a few sticks done on the rainy days. |

When I go cat fishing, I take something to carve on while I'm waiting for the fish to bite. Maybe that's the reason I don't catch many fish but it sure is nice to sit on a creek bank and whittle.

Hey Colin, Well, I thank goodness that you like to talk, cause I enjoy your messages, your thinking and your humor. I get that crack every so often too, but mostly She Who Must Be Obeyed just leaves me alone to do my thing. Drinking and chasing women.....been there, done that, as a youngster. We just celebrated our 32 nd anniversary on Thursday, so those days are a distant memory! Keep on writing and carving my friend, I think we're better off! Bob |

Colin, You don't hear anyone complaining on this site. Always good postings. I get a lot of great, very useful information from this site and like to listen to the kidding around. I think that someones wife must be monitoring the posts, all the comments about not chasing women sounds kind of fishey to me.
