Default Wood carving better than sex (G rated)

I got this off the internet somewhere a while back. Thought some of you might like it too so here it is.

WHY WOODCARVING IS BETTER THAN SEX

(an original by Dave White)

1. If you are not very good at carving you can discuss your problems openly at the next meeting without fear of embarrassment.
2. The object of your interest does not require a lot of caressing and compliments before you get down to the good stuff.
3. It is socially acceptable to invite people to watch you carve.
4. There is nothing tin the Ten Commandments prohibiting carving somebody else's piece.
5. Nothing restricts you either ethically or morally from taking lessons to carve better.
6. You can buy, sell, destroy, or trade carvings.
7. You can easily change tools to do the carving better.
8. It seems that you carve better as you get older.
9. You can stop part way through a carving session without suffering any criticism.
10. Often carving can be done with a headache, and has been known to cure a headache.
11. You can display your carving successes on the walls of your home
12. You don't have to read your carving magazines behind closed doors.
13. Discussing carving in front of young children is not considered inappropriate, in fact it is encouraged.
14. You can go to schools and give carving demonstrations to classes of children without repercussions.
15. You don't have to watch the Italian channel on Friday night to catch a carving show.
16. Long-term carving relationships between two people of the same sex do not require government sanctioned legislation.
17. The product of such a liaison is not thought of as socially disadvantaged in polite society.
18. Should you finish the act of carving quickly that would be considered a positive attribute, rather than as a lack of muscular control.
19. Should it come out that you have been a secret carver for many years, no one will think less of you when you come out of the closet.
20. You can leave your clothes on while you carve.

lol.
These would apply to scrolling as well as carving.

BTW - although I'm not a carver, I was pleasantly surprised to see a carving section added. My Dad carved; guess that's why it's a soft spot.

he he that's funny
I enjoy carvign wood spirits and 3-d busts. It's hard to do sometimes, but can be very rewarding. I'm not much for building cabinets and such. I'd rather carve wood.
