Hello All, I just wanted to give an Atta-Boy to Rick-In-Seattle. About a month ago, I ordered the "Beginners Carving Kit" from Rick-In-Seattle. I requested a large glove order. Well the kit was absolutely Great (I recommend it highly for all new carvers & the price is unbeatable). However, the large glove was just too snug for my big hands and I ask him if they made a X-large. He said that none of his suppliers carried an X-large, but he would research it further. Today, I got back from the Christmas Holidays (away from my home town). In the mail box was a package from "Little Shavers" & I knew It could not be my last order I placed. Onced I opened it, it contained an X-large kevlar dotted glove & hte invoice said no charge. I know he can't do that in all situations, but he went above and beyond to find my size glove & DID Not even charge me for his efforts or shipping. Furthermore, he told me to give the undersized glove to another carver, maybe a newbe. Not many companies appreciate their customers, but "Little Shavers" do not take that approach! I take my hat off to Rick & Thereasa for their integrity and customer service. I have used other vendors before, but from now on, I will give them the first opportunity at my business. Thanks Rick & Thereasa!!! Bouncing S (By the way, I not a salesperson for them, just a satisfied customer) Regards to all & give "Little Shavers" a shot for a great purchasing experience!! Jim

Service like that is hard to find. Some folks really do value your patronage. I'm sure Rick realizes the value of providing a good service as mentioned. Too bad more people don't operate like he does.

Dont know the supplier your speaking about, but I have worked for the public most of my life, started early in my dads store. I know about service and integrity, its easier said than done. When I find a person like Rick to deal with, I stick with them. He would get my vote.!!

With the way Rick presents himself here on this board, I would not have expect anything less from him. Truely a honest man who bends over backwards for his customers and friends. My hat is off to Rick!

Hey nice to hear about service like that. It must be the truth because every day I hear somewhere on this board that Little Shavers is the best place to buy from. Hats off to you Rick. ColinHappy |
