It is a naturel handle. 95% of my sticks (canes) are one piece. al.rudd |

Nice stick Al I am like you I like to carve them all out of one piece. When I am looking for sticks I look for just the unusual ones. ColinThumbs Up Smile |

You are lucky to have the option of natural sticks...hard to come by in the desert!

I have a few that have have natural handles I have gotten to where if they do not have natural handles I try and get them in longer lengths to make hiking sticks. I have several full length sticks and I have several in the 48 to 50 inch range also.I have gotten to where i like the ones in the 48 to 50 inch range for my own personal use. I just finished a stick a frw minutes ago with an antler on top. About 42 inches in overall length. Got some twist down near the bottom but they do not come all the way up. Wish they did. No Pic of it right now.
