Default CARVING VENTRILOQUIST DOLL HEADS

??? ???HELLO-I'M TRYING TO GET ANY INFO ON CARVING VENT DOLL HEADS-
I USE TO PAINT REPRODUCTION GERMAN DOLLS-BUT WOULD REALLY LIKE TO TRY MAKING A VENT DOLL -I DO HAVE A WOOD SHOP-I HAVE A FEW CARVING TOOLS -BUT NEED TO GET A BETTER SET-I WOULD LIKE SOME ADICE ON THAT TOO.
IF YOU KNOW OF ANY BOOKS, VIDEO,DVD -CLUBS-PEOPLE WHO MIGHT HELP WITH INFO-IT WOULD MEAN ALOT TO ME.

No luck on finding resources for carving heads but found this page. It has the mechanicals and pages for sculpting and casting.

Some time ago I saw a site on the web that covered just doll carving. That's not my bag so I didn't mark it but if you do enough searches and find the correct nomenclature, it's out there!

There was an article on doll carving (I believe it was in 'Carving World' magazine) a while back as well.....

Went to your website to take a look and ended up reading the whole thing. My compliments on a nice webpage design but especially on the wonderful work you produce. You really do nail the personality with their exressions. Must be tough to give them up for adoption! Thanks for sharing.
