Default Skil Model1910 Carving System

Hi Gang,
You have probably heard me talk from time to time how much I love my Skil power carver I have had it for two years used it every day and it has been a great tool for me. My problem is that it finally broke down and they dont make it in Canada any more. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could purchase another one or if anyone on this message board had one for sale.Thanks. again it is a Skil model 1910 power carver.
Colin

Sorry Colin, I don't have any leads to a Skil Carver. I did however come across the catalog that has the carver in the man said was too big for my carvings. It's a power chisel made by Arbotech...says in the ad 'takes reciprocating power carving to new levels'.
This catalog is Chipping Away, located up there in Canada. Anyhow, if you don't have this catalog let me know, I'll scan the page and send it to you if you'd like, certainly looks like something that would work for the size carvings you do, at least in my 'uneducated opinion'! Callynne

colin_partridge,

Did a quick search and found what I think is your carver.

http://www.mdiwoodcarvers.com/new_page_1.htm

Did the search at Google.com and came up with many links. This was the first.

Happy Shopping!
