Default Portable carving table...

I found a great little folding table, about 25' long and 18' wide, lightweight, STURDY (plastic top, rnd metal legs), and has 3 height adjustments. Cost just under $20.00 at WalMart and Bi-Mart here in the Pac. Northwest (possibly available elswhere). Works great to carve on...using it in the house now, but will no doubt be outside with it on occasions when the weather gets nicer.

Say Hey Toycarver,

sounds like you have a niffty little table there. I also reside in the Great Pacific Northwest....Portland, OR. New to the art of wood carving but have been interested in woodworking in general since before God invented rocks. LOL!

Hi Toycarver, Curtis is looking for a table just like that to put his dust collector on while he carves inside. I understand that Wal Mart has an on line store.. Do you know the brand name of your table and what is it called? Thanks Curtis and Charlotte Gibbs

Default I 'think' it is....

made by 'LIFETIME' ...according to a sticker on the underside.
it says max weight support is 40# . Also, when I said plastic top..that sounds kind of cheezy, not sure what a better word would be ...but it's a hard molded plastic and the top is actually about 1' thick. I think I spotted a larger 'picnic' type table in the sporting good section of WalMart the other day that looked like it was probably made by the same company.
Hope that helps in your search. also, I know they come in different color tops, mine is kind of a sandstone color, but I've seen it in a darker brown color too.

those tables are apparently the latest thing....I bought one at 'checker' auto parts, Costco also has them, both the small and a larger one. I think I paid 14.00 at checker(small one).

Wal-marts and Sams in MO,KS and Ok have them. They work nicely.Easily to move, put up out of the way. Bought one for me and two longer ones for the little bride for her craft room.
