in the past i have sealed my carvings using latex primer paint watered down.but after reading several posts i have gotten some KT super sealer.Is there a special procedure for using this stuff?do you just paint it on directly from the container?how many coats is recomended?any tips or suggestions?

I just paint from the bottle....dries unbelievably fast tho, so keep water handy if you want to save your brush!! Supposed to be able to woodburn through it, that will be the next thing I try. Did you get the white or the clear? assuming the white, I just put one coat on of whichever one I am working with...does leave a good 'tooth' to the finish for painting.

You may try Jo Sonja's All Purpose Sealer also. Another dry fast sealer and I use brown paper sack(torn piece 4 x4') and sand it down with it after it dries. Makes for a smoother surface.
