Default Dust Collector!

I got my DC720 Dust Collector. WOW!! Do I ever love it! I can't believe how well it works and all the more noise it makes. If anyone is debating over getting one I'd highly recommend it!
Works great for woodburning also, just run it on a lower speed and you won't be breathing in all that smoke smell! Callynne

Greyhair, I'm so sorry it has taken this long to respond to your question! We had company for the weekend (third one in a row...but who's counting! )
I got my dust collector from The Christian J. Hummel Company http://www.hummul.com but I don't see one on their website. MDI also has one and it is shown on their website http://mdiwoodcarvers.com/dust.htm That link should take you right to it, if not just go to http://mdiwoodcarvers.com and type in dust collectors in the search box.
It looks a lot like the one listed in the other topic about Dust Collector on Sale but that one only has one fan, this one has three and so it cleans a lot more air, 720 CFM. What I really noticed is my hands and especially my glasses stay clean, it just sucks all the dust in as I work. Like I said, I LOVE it!! Again, sorry for the delay in answering, hope this helps you and anyone else looking. Callynne

I tried to get the sites too. Glad you got the correct site addresses on. I just about gave up trying. Did you get an extra filter for the machine too? Or is it a washable filter? Jim

You're welcome guys! Jim, I only got the one filter. I asked about that when I ordered it and the man said I'd really only need this one for a long time. He said just give it a 'whack' outside once in a while but what I do is just use the crevice tool on my sweeper and clean it off, works great.
You will be amazed the amount of dust it collects, can't believe I debated over whether or not I really needed one!! Callynne

Thanks for the tip on the filter Callynne, beats a mask for sure, they are so restrictive.

You do some amaizing carvings, keep up the good work.

Bob
