Default 1st try at fretwork

This is my first try at fretwork. The pattern of Frank Sinatra is from Gary Brownings portraits book.

Thanks Gary for a great book. Now I have lots of patterns to try. I hope someday to be able to do some portraits of my grandchildren.

This was a wonderful break from intarsia but I think I am ready to get back to it. My hat is off to all of you talented fretwork artists. Keep up the good work.

Tim

Nice work Tim. I noticed that the armature from the shoulders up through the face was rather thin. Did you glue this onto a backer?

Sorry, I meant from the face up through the hat looked rather thin.
