| "since i truned a mobile home a 12x 60 into my wood shop she thinks i live out there ". I can't count the times while working on the Model A, she threatened to "move my bed into the shop". So... I go in and spend the time and when she fell asleep....... back out to the shop.

Ever since i got my wood turning/cutting machines i am on a nice day 5 to 6 hours in the shop/shed.....Now i have to take a holiday because it is way to cold to do anything, shaking of the cold and working does not mix well. A heater or what so ever is just a fire hazard. Danny

Hi Danny Have you considered an oil filled radiator? I use one, and there's no fire hazard. Gill

How much time do I spend in the shop? Not nearly enough. My shop is too cold in the winter, and I have an oil radiator, it just dosen't heat the shop enough. The floor is too cold and it makes my legs ache. We're hopeing to find away to insulate the floor sometime this spring. But until then very little shop time for me. Marsha |

My husband and I run a custom furniture business, and we are both full time college students. So when I am not helping him build large units, I am scroll sawing. So during the school year I scroll about 4 hours a day, and during the summer I have been known to stay out in the shop and work for up to 14 hours.
