Did these for xmas this year paper is about the same thickness as card paper stack of 30 at once hope you all like Jerry

What ever made you think to use stacked paper? What type of stock did you use.. and glue? I can imagine using different colors stacked to get a deeper looking cutout area.... Hm-m-m-m-m-m-m-m. Neat concept. Forgive me if this is a normal thing. I'm new to scrolling.

The paper I use is about the same as poster board for thickness.White on both sides. To do this I use 1/8 " ply elmers glue to hold the pattern to the ply ,Brad nails on four corners or as needed and drill holes with a 60 drill bit. 2/0 blade stack 20 - 30 depending on the cut.If you can do fret work you can do this .It opens the window for all kinds of things to use these for from sun catchers to xmas cards made home made or just stuff them into the cards that you send also scrap booking or wedding decorations work

Jerry... I no sooner got off the site the other night and started thinking of stuff to do with layered paper. I took some colored poster board and glued it up to about 3/16 thickness and plan on trying a 3-d popout style card for the grandson's BD this new year. Keep your finger's crossed and thanks for the inspiration.

When I glue the pattern to the 1/8 board I use elmers spray glue that way I get a wooden cut out also .To get the paper off the board I use a heat gun ( Hair dryer will work also) that loosene the paper from the wood and than clean the remaining glue off and you have another cut out so two wooden cutouts and a stack of paper not bad for 10 minutes work

Very good. Amazes me what some people do. Where did you get the patterns? Did you have the 1/8 on top and bottom with the paper in between? Thanks for sharing.

I like the idea of stack-cutting paper. If the paper has an adhesive backing, it could be used for all sorts of decorative projects.

In answer to Graceman I use 1/8 board on top and bottom that way I have coup[le of good wooden scrolls also
Now for gill paper i use is aboput the thickness of card stock no glue on back but now i have to look for some of that thanks for the idea some more time away from saw lol
