Default Portrait for a Friend::::

Just finished a portrait for a friend & will be trading it for a day of house cleaning, which she does for us. She saw the work that I do & she requested that I do one of her sister & husband. I used a 12x12 in. BBirch ply & made the frame of 1x2 Oak & foam sheet for the backer. Added a touch of color for their suntans. Will include the picture that the pattern was made from. Take a look. Thanks

Dang!!! That is one of the better portraits I have seen in some time.

You are spot on with that one.

I am totally impressed with the likeness to the actual photo. Very nice job!

Thank you John & Linda. I really enjoy doing these portraits. Most of which I do for family or friends. I haven't really sold one yet, but, our friend asked me to do this one of her sister & husband. I was glad to do it & decided to trade her for a days house cleaning, which she does for us on a regular basis. She doesn't know it is finished yet, so will be calling her to let her know. Thanks again

That looks really good. Very nice cutting and I especially like the frame.
