Default Gifts...

Here are a couple of gifts I've made for family...
First one is for my wife's parents on their up coming 50th anniversary...it started as just the heart but then evolved into this picture frame...the photo mounted is just a picture to fill the void...her parents aren't storefront mannequins...

The eagle is for our son's apartment...he is currently going through flight school in Pensacola, FL and I figured he and his roommate shouldn't be the only thing there with wings...
Wingtip to wingtip it's about 15" and 15" in height...

I enjoyed looking at these, Sam. They are nicely cut. And I also chuckled at the humor you sneaked into your posting. Thanks for sharing both!

Both are well done, like each of them. Great gifts which I am sure will be enjoyed for a long time.

Thank you all for the kind words...my wife is up visiting her parents this week and their anniversary is next Friday...she took it with her to Rathdrum, ID.
I made something else for our son...I'll post a picture later...then I have to carefully pack them for mailing...
