Default key rack

My mother-in-law has reached the age of forgetfulness and she keeps misplacing her keys. So my wife suggested that I make her a key rack. I looked around for some key rack plans, but didn't find any to my liking, so I sat down and designed my own pattern -- my first attempt to do something like that. I don't have any graphic design software, so I just did it the old fashioned way with paper and pencil, drawn freehand. In spite of this, I think it turned out pretty well. My mother-in-law loves it anyway. But, alas, she is still forgetting to put her keys on it. Oh well...

It's beautiful and a great job on the hand drawing of it too. Fay

Rolf, in answer to your question, I saw those hooks on a key rack at Home Depot and liked them. I looked everywhere to find similar ones. When I couldn't find any, I went back to Home Depot, bought the key rack, and took the hooks off of it. Fortunately, it was a very cheap key rack, but I still have probably 10 bucks invested in those hooks.

Great job and it is a one of a kind. Maybe she does not want to damage it by putting her keys on it.
