Nice work!

I just cut my first Corian piece. I'd like to try some more, but I'm going to have to get some of the FD Polar blades. Seems like those must be the cat's meow for cutting Corian.

well, i HAVE listened to the comments and advice i’ve received from all my resources, and figured i’d better do as told, or else (knowing mr. w-n-t would shake me up and down)….be sure to use the #5 FD-P’s, i tried the #3 FD-P’s, but the corian melted back together faster, than with the #5

I was thinking that stuff had to be difficult to cut because of the possible 're-melt.' My hat is off to you. (A) That is some FINE cutting on a difficult material; (B) Those are some great patterns; and (C) that Arrowhead shows that you got more than 'some' talent. Great job!!!

Very nice work Tim. I really like the arrowhead for sure. How thick is your corian? I have half a dozen 4"x4"-1/2" thick that was given to me a while back. Might have to give it a go.

Nice work! I know that I've seen that pattern for the Faith Hope and Love crosses, but I'll be darned if I know where those are from!

Default solid surface material

yesterday i had a couple bring me the leftovers from their new countertop installation and the wife said it was all mine, and i knew the only thing that she wanted for the material….soooooo, today i put aside the back ordered custom cut and decided to try out this new material….it is called ‘solid surface’…it’s not corian by any means, it cuts nicely, doesn’t mend back together if the blade runs too fast, altho, the waste is very powdery, unlike corian…i did use 5 #5 FD-P blades, but it IS 1 1/8in thick…..and for this ‘free’ material, all i have to do is go to the business, which is about an hour away, and the owner said all the throwaways will be either on the side of the dumpster, or in it, and to take all i want..ok, ok, i know ya’ll wanna see, so i’ll shut up….for now….here’s it……crosses are about 4in high +/-
