Default 2nd Clock

Finished this up yesterday.

My second scrollwork project.

Pattern is from Wildwood. Body of the clock is Cherry - accent piece is Elm stained with black Analine Dye. Finish is 5 coats of semi-gloss polyurethane buffed with 0000 wool impregnated with wax.

My wife really likes this piece - not sure it will every see a sale tag (kinda the idea of doing this stuff) ..... I can see she is going to be a problem ......

I would stick a price tag on it but with a very high price on it and then mark the tag "PIF " and hand it to your wife to keep

Terrific idea! I had to google PIF and came up with two choices: "Paid in Full" or "Pay it Forward".

You are a wise man ......

Thanks,

Jay

It is a beautiful piece. But, I agree with the others "PIF" to wife - no other comments required. You'll get some mileage out of that one.

Beautiful design and craftsmanship. In spite of being new to scroll sawing you are obviously an accomplished woodworker judging from the beautiful turnings in the one photo. If you continue with the scroll saw, I'm sure we will be seeing more exciting projects from you.
