I sent the designer a PM from this site but don't know if he will ever get it. I asked him for permission to post the pattern for everyone. I really want to provide the pattern but don't want any legal or personal troubles. Mick, do you know if he is still a member of the Scroller Cafe?

I tried to download it from the Cafe archives. My computer won't download it, says it may be corrupt. I can print it. Sent a PM to Gayle asking if I can take a picture of it and e-mail it to a friend. I got the original pattern from Rick McCulley back in 2007. I don't want to run into any copyright problems. Being that it is on a scrolling forum for anyone to use, I don't see the problem.

I sure would like to give it a try also. I like pictures like that. I have a painting that shows an up todate farm house but also "ghost" people and things showing how things were in the past.

This is the answer I received from Gayle. Mick - the legal and moral ethic is that you should not share any pattern that is not of your own design. The patterns in the Archives are there for any member of the Cafe to access for their own use, but even though they are free - it doesn't mean they can be shared with others. I assume your friend is not a member at the Cafe - is he a member at SSWC? - they may have a copy of the pattern in their archives also that he could access for himself. Failing that - he couyld try reaching Rick to ask for a copy.

After much thought I must say I think Gayles response is spot on. Thanks for checking Mick!
