Default shadylady's eat beef turkey

Thanks for a great pattern Sue, I loved cutting it and my wife thinks it is great. I don't know if you planned on painting any part of it but I did. Hope you like it. It is approximately 9 x 12 and I stack cut 3 from 3/16 comp core oak ply with a 1/16 ply backer painted royal blue. I put a coat of amber shellac on the ply before painting with acrylics. The frame is shop made of 1 1/2 wide by 3/4 thick oak stained with my mixture of 1/2 red oak - 1/2 dark walnut minwax. It is all finished with a top coat of spray shellac.
As usual, any criticisms or comments are greatly appreciated.

george

Very comical and your take is excellently done. The blue background really makes the other colours and the picture as a whole pop!

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. It really was a fun project to cut and paint. Thanks again Sue for creating a great pattern and sharing it with us. It will hang by the coat rack on Friday when we have 17 for our annual day after Thanksgiving Day feeding frenzy. I am also giving one to the friends of ours who share their Thanksgiving Day dinner with us every year which is why we have a crowd at our house the day after. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
