Default She's next!

Good Afternoon!

This is the second portrait in my portfolio. My Brother In Law was first, and now the Mrs. (or else) I would appreciate any help that you folks might deem necessary.
Thanks for your time

looks good Joe! The only advice I would give is that I'd start with the small detail cuts around the teeth and eyes as they look to me like they'd be the most fragile areas when the rest of the wood immediately around them is removed. Other than that, it looks like a very sturdy cutting.

Just don't forget to post pictures of the finished project!

Hi Joe, looks great, nice job on the hair. I am not a pattern maker but I think a little more detail with her nose from what you have going up between her eyes, a line or 2 under her eyes, a laugh line on each side of her mouth up to her nose and a wrinkle or 2 on her neck. Very nice looking lady.

Joe, that is a beautiful pattern. Did you use software or pencil. I would only try two other things for detail. A little bolder in the cheeks & maybe just a hint of some neck detail. But, I would really be satisfied with cutting that pattern as it is, though. What do you think? Good Job. -- Perk

I did the pattern by hand using GIMP. There is supposed to be a way to get a picture from photo to sketch using the various tools, but I have not learned that yet. for your input, I will give it a try! I am mostly concerned with the nose.
