Hi Tony - that came out pretty good pal!

Now if I could just find a photo of my old custom Norton Commando 850cc with rear sets and big aluminium tank or the Triumph Morgan Bonnie with full racing trim you'd have some real bikes to cut !!!

By the way, did you know that Triumphs are so famous they are even mentioned in the Bible. In fact Moses rode one! Don't believe me? Well its not common knowledge but when he wasn't splitting the Red Sea or collecting the Ten Commnadments he used to sneak out into the Sinai hills and practise doing wheelies. Hence the quote "the roar of Moses' Triumph is heard in the hills"

Later on Joshua also got in the act but he was a noisy beggar and a bit of a show off and rode a Bonnie with a hole in the silencer! It was said of him - "Joshua's Triumph was heard throughout the land."

Now you find me mention of a Harley!

Very nicely done Tony!

Jim,
It was edited out of the bible......"And on the eighth day, God created Harley Davidson." Hehehehehehe.

Nice cutting Tony, Great to do something for yourself for a change I bet. Haven't riden a bike for 25 years now. I've left some skin on the roads in my time.

Hehehe, I still ride though unfortunately it's a Suzuki GS-1100 (or as I like to call it, an Organ Donor-1100) and not a Harley but I'll get another one one day. I've lost count of how many times I've neglected to keep the shiny side up. The worst scrape was a head-on collision with a Buick at about 60mph (100kph?). I landed about 100 ft behind the car and folded the bike in half (literally). It was stuck into the front end of the car. I was in shorts, a tank top, sandals and no helmet. My injuries were severe, I sprained my left thumb and had some scratches on my leg. Oh, the guy driving the Buick......
my father (can ya believe he made me walk home too?).

Sounds fun Kevin! - you must have had the gods in your favour that day. I'm sure your Suzuki would be the death of me - literally. Fortunately in 25 yers of biking I never had a serious accident but to be fair I was a fairly steady rider - more into touring than ripping up the asphalt. It's been a good while since I've owned a bike but I keep threatening to get another one - the only problem is my wife keeps threatening me back!!
We'll see!
