Default Billy Fury

Hi all
Just finished this for a friends birthday. It's a portrait of Billy Fury. For those of you who don't know of Billy, he was a very famous rock and roll star in Britain in the late 50's and early 60's. Some say he was the British Elvis. But Billy himself never tried to emulate Elvis for he knew there was only one King.
However he was very popular over here. It's said he was a quiet, shy man away from the stage. He suffered from ill health and heart problems and sadly he died in 1983, at the age of 42. My sister cried when she heard the news. I don't know if any of his music reached the States, but I'm sure he would have been apprieciated there too.
Mick

Thanks for the nice comments everybody. I was very pleased with the finished cut. I think my friend will like it. She was a real fan of Billy's and plays his music all the time.
