Cut this awhile back. Glued the leather on a piece of hardboard and the pattern on another piece and stacked them together. Used #2R blades I think a non-reverse blade would have been better, as a "R" tends to pull the leather up. Also if the area that is being cut out is less than 3/16 it really doesn't show up well. I've also had problems with trying to leave just a stip around 1/4 " wide, as the blade pulls the leather down and off the board. May try a #02 next time. Vic

That's pretty cool - I don't think I've ever seen leather cut on a scroll saw. Thanks for sharing. Ray

Vic, that's a great portrait and a very original idea. Never thought of doing something in leather. It works really well Mick
