Hey guys and gals. I got this idea from VB's scroll saw magazine case thread. I was thinking about making a magazine rack that can hold 50 to 100 magazine with the CWC logo on one side and the SSWC logo on the other side. What do you think?

I have several hundred...Let me know how the planning goes...I need a storage solution. I have mags back to the 80's...I just can't toss a wood mag.

I don't have that book VB. Where can I get it? PS. I'll post the plans and patterns when I design them.

Personally I like the idea of a wooden storage solution for my wood working magazines. However, I think if you build one box to hold 50 - 100 magazines that it will be too big to handle and will end up sitting around. This might work if you are only planning to store your mags, but if you are planning on displaying the holders and periodically going through old mags. I would make it smaller - maybe two or three years worth per box. My $0.02 DG Dewalt 788 |

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll make the rack a little smaller than I first planed and I'll try to design something to hold the magazines upright when the case is not full.

If an past article is needed from a magazine then the person should try and buy that issue from different sources. First you try the magazine itself and if not then you should try EBay. Diane
