Default First Portrait Pattern and frame

This is my first Portrait pattern that turned out.. the first one i did was of the same picture but without the arm and body i didn't like the way it looked so i asked charlie if he would add the arm and body to make the picture fuller.. then i did this one..Its a picture of my neice and my brother in law.Pattern was done by Charlie Dearling..The first picture has a walnut background with a frame.. 2nd same picture but with black back ground,, 3rd is the picture i took the pattern from and last is the frame.. it was also my frist time making one.. the frame is made out of walnut, cherry, and purple heart..this is a picture i did for my neice. her dad was killed last may so i wanted to do something for her..The picture was the last picture they took together a few month before he died.. I want to thank Charlie Darling for taking the time to make this pattern for me so i can cut it. Steve

Steve, that was a wonderful thing that you did. And you did a marvelous job cutting the portrait. If you haven't made a frame before, you sure have a talent for that. The frame is beautiful. Charles did a fine job too, on the pattern. Thanks for sharing it with us. Perk

Steve

My first portrait was for someone I cared about. I think it helps. You made a lovely job of Charlie's pattern and finished it all of to a tee with the frame. It will be an heirloom, no doubt.

thanks for showing us and keep up the good work
