Hi all, Panda pattern by Jigsue. The sample of Bamboo ply was send to me to try, I think it is ok but the back of the ply has air pockets in the basket weave (poor gluing). FDUR #1 Blade used bamboo sandwiched between two 4mm mdf ply. the ply is 2.5mm. This particular ply comes in 3 thicknesses 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5mm Bamboo Panda's - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Photo Gallery The sample was a wee bit small for the frame, the gap at the bottom (bugger). The guy that sent me the ply does not know what scrolling is so i intend to send him this cutting. Merlin

Nice job! I cut some bamboo flooring once and it is an unusual product to cut. I am sure your friend will really appreciate what you have done. Thanks for sharing.

The image mixed with the wood works wonderfully. I really like it! Don't really notice the gap.

Very nicely done. Couldn't have found a better subject for that wood.
