This piece was made of beetle killed pine(blue stain) for the sheep, aspen background, and elk chewed aspen for the frame. Hope I can get the picture posted. |

Absolutely fabulous! The cutting and the frame compliment each other nicely. As an aside there has been some really creative recycling in today's Bragging section. |

The frame is outstanding. How many elk do you own to chew the wood for you? LOL Isn't it amazing how much softer "Blue Pine" is even more so than regular pine? I love working with Blue Pine when I can find it.

I will give ya as many elk as ya want. We are fortunate enough to live in a place where they winter in the aspens. In time, we get the beautiful handiwork of them. I use alot of it in my log furniture.

That has to be the COOLEST pix and frame I have seen in a long time. Keep up the originality--that frame really makes this cutting. jerrog |

Definitely a cool combination. Works very well together. Any chance at sharing your source for the blue pine?

Sometimes things just click into place and this is one of those times. The item as a whole is marvellous.
