Im blessed having that kind of wood practically in my back yard. I have a great source for that wood. If any are interested in some, I'm sure we could come upon a agreement on some of it. I have used both native species in my log furniture for yrs., and to me is the most beautiful wood I have worked with. I might be a little biased, but ya get that way with Colorado wood, giggles. Thanks for the comments.

I might add, that particular piece was for a man who finished his North America Sheep Grand Slam. Which includes the dall, stone, bighorn and desert sheep. That pattern had everything I was looking for as far as having 4 sheep within one. I hope he will be pleased.

That really is beautiful Colorado, the frame really sets it off.

Love the cutting, but love the frame moreso.I would love to see some pictures of your log furniture.I would love to build my daughter a log bedroom set sometime. She has always loved that style, but the ones commercially available have HUGE price tags.

If you can not find anyone who wants the framed cutting, I would be glad to provide it a home. LOL This is one way kook piece of of art that you have created. I love the blue pine, just wish we could get it in arkansas. Keep up the good work and please continue to show your neato work to all of jealous folks.
