Im blessed having that kind of wood practically in my back yard. I have a great source for that wood. If any are interested in some, I'm sure we could come upon a agreement on some of it. I have used both native species in my log furniture for yrs., and to me is the most beautiful wood I have worked with. I might be a little biased, but ya get that way with Colorado wood, giggles. Thanks for the comments. I might add, that particular piece was for a man who finished his North America Sheep Grand Slam. Which includes the dall, stone, bighorn and desert sheep. That pattern had everything I was looking for as far as having 4 sheep within one. I hope he will be pleased. |

Love the cutting, but love the frame moreso.I would love to see some pictures of your log furniture.I would love to build my daughter a log bedroom set sometime. She has always loved that style, but the ones commercially available have HUGE price tags.
