Default Pictures from a new member

Hello all!

Just joined last week. Would like to show you what I make. Comments welcome, both good and bad. Constructive criticism helps show you what you need to work on! The bowls are from a pattern by Gary Mackay. The butterfly inlay box was from Sue Mey, and I think the cross inlay was her pattern, too. The rose was cut from aspen and colored with food coloring. The horse head inlay is from a book by Patrick Spielman. Bought the guitar pattern online, was by Andy (no last name on pattern). The horse protrait was from either SSW&C or Creative Woodworks and Crafts. The wine bottle holder was from SSW&C. The little reindeer were from an ancient issue of Workbench magazine, you can find it on their website under Online Extras (or something similar). My work isn't nearly as good as a lot of you guys, but I enjoy butchering wood!!! Please let me know if you like any of it.

Very nice! Thank you for sharing!

The reindeer look particularly fun for this time of year. Do you know which issue that was from? My search-fu was weak and I couldn't find it in the online extras.

The guitar pattern by Andy-with-no-last-name looks suspiciously like the avatar of Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board - View Profile: Andy . I suspect there's a connection there

Well, if that's what you call "Wood Butchering" I'm gonna stop trying and start butchering
They are all great pieces and finish is excellent.
