Nice work, Sue and great that you used your own design. What size is your Last Super?

The framed size is 16 X 11.5 inches

The backing board is held in place along with the cutting in the frame with framing points since it is the same size as the cutting. Jim uses a Fletcher Framemaster point driver, ( The Fletcher-Terry Company 65 Spring Lane Farmington Connecticut USA 06032-3311 1-800-677-7331.). He says "This tool really makes framing easy."

Personally, I use spray adhesive to attach the black poster board behind the cutting. I also like to use MDF sprayed with mat black as backings for portrait style cuttings. These are attached using wood glue.

First off, the cutting looks nicely done. The pattern, although it doesnt do much for me (Im into more fancier, frilly designs) looks nicely done, simple and to the point. The one thing that really troubles me is the wood choice! That football patch in the plywood totally ruins the look of the completed project for me.All the time involved in making the piece is ruined because of the flaw in the material it is cut on, at least thats my opinion on it.Hopefully thats taken only as creative criticism instead of just criticism as its meant to be taken, if not, I apologize
