Completed Rattlin' Bones this morning. I stack cut 2 of them. Finished with 2 coats of spray gloss poly. I could not find the short rubberbands recommended by William Berry so I bought a small bag ( 1/4 lb) of #16 rubberbands (2" x 1/16") from Staples. Then doubled them over at each joint. I think I have enough for a hundred or so skeletons. Thanks for your comments, I had fun making them. Sawdustus skeleton.jpg

You will probably be sick of cutting them if you plan on not wasting any of the rubberbands! Nice cutting though.

I found similar rubber bands at the hair care isle in my local grocery store... Now I have to find time to cut some! But I don't need them until October... So I'll start Sept. 30th.. LOL

I reduced the patterns 50% and made little guys... the rubber bands didn't work when they were that small, so I used fishing line. But I had the most fun making shirts! I took the individual pieces, dipped them in fabric paint, then pushed them on the shirt - like a stamp sort of. Lots of fun. I made a sweatshirt with a pair of dancing skeletons for myself (see my new avatar - had to show off!) and a flaming skull t-shirt for my son.

Shannon, Great idea, it is obvious why you are the boss. ![]() Sawdustus, you are a bit late, now that they are done you have to put them away until next Holloween.
