Default Wish me luck

I just finished this pattern of my beautiful "wild hair" (Literally) 4 year old Granddaughter Hope. And with that hair I'll need all the luck I can get cutting this pattern.

Thank God she's not a red head. Yikes

G'day Pete,
Sure will be a challenge, but I'm sure an Ex-21 owner is up to it

By the way, cute little minx, I bet she has you all on the hop.

Hey Pete.
Good lookin pattern, but be careful with drop outs. Especially where the hair lays over the shoulder. Also, the torso doesn't have any connections with the rest of the portrait. Do you have enough support for the face? Looks like you only have support at the hair line, maybe leave an opening or two on the jaw line?

If I was cutting this portrait, I would work on the "less is more" strategy and clean out some of the very tiny cuts and emphasize some of the prominant curls.

Pete, what a cutie she is, I bet she has Grandpa wrapped around her little finger.

I'm no expert but I think you need to work on your pattern a little bit. Otherwise her teeth are going to fall out of your picture and she will need a set of dentures.

I did make some changes to the pattern. I started cutting it last night. Should get it finished over the weekend.

Bobbi the teeth stayed in YEA! And a few hair changes also. Should be OK.

John B Yes she dose. Her and her two sisters. 14 Months and 6 Years... Couldn't live with out them.. HA HA my son is going to have his hands full when they get to their Teens..... Pay back hee hee hee

Pete
I love the pic! I think you'll earn your keep on this one, but the likeness is great . . . and, she's a real cutie to boot! I'll be looking forward to seeing the cutout. Good luck.

Pete, You'll need lots of patience on the curly hair. I did a portrait of me and my hubby. I have wild curly hair and he is bald! I swore at my hair the whole time and absolutely adored his perfectly smooth head (as I do in real life!!). It came out okay though. Good luck to you, Connie
