Default Andy's Viper

Another fine pattern by Andy Deane. It wasn't real tough to cut, nothing like the Camaro and Mustang Fastback, but still a challenge. It took some thinking to figure out how to go about getting it all cut and not breaking anything out.

I'm playing with frames and backing now. I want to lead your mind some into seeing (in this case) the hot red Viper driving down the road.

Tom

I think the red looks really good. Nice work.

Yeah, the red really works. All you need now is the police car with lights and siren blaring.

I already emailed Tom and praised him endlessly but I have to do it publicly in here too. The cutting turned out GREAT and what I really like is the way he incorporated the red backer with the red frame. I really think it makes the entire project sizzle!!! Good on 'ya Tom.

What Tom didn't include that was EXTREMELY special to me is his 4 year old came out to check on him while he was working on it and wanted to do her own so he let her. The outcome overwhelmed me a bit. I don't know that a 4 year old ever saw one of my patterns and was inclined to want to do one for herself. Here's the outcome. I hope it makes y'all smile as much as it did me.

Thank you Tom for sending this my way!! We all do this kind of work hoping for a special moment like this ... I just got the best reward from your daughter Beth!!!!
