Default Guitar portrait

A while ago David Arrington asked me to make him a guitar pattern. Not just any guitar though - a Les Paul Custom electric guitar Here is David's project, which he quietly posted in the gallery - I think it deserves a brag so am posing it on his behalf (with his permission).

Btw Did you know that April is international guitar month?

Beautiful pattern Sue and nice cutting David. I never played an electric, only acoustics, but that is a dream pattern beautifully cut of the classic electric. Just the right amount of detail. Thanks for sharing

Sue, I want to thank you for putting my cutting of your guitar pattern here for all to see. It's one of my favorites because I have that very guitar. I have the cutting hanging in my foyer right now for everyone to see when they come through the door. You've done a lot of great patterns and I've cut a few of them but nothing to compare to this. You truly are one of my favorite people and please keep up the outstanding work you do. God bless, David

Hey Andy, yea, I do have this wonderful guitar. I've had it for a long time. It's a vintage Les Paul made in the early 60s and it's worth a consideral amount of money. I have considered retireing it and start playing another one but this one plays better than any I've ever played. I'm proud to have it. A lot of people have tried to buy it from me but it's not for sale. This guitar will pay my for grandson's collage education. Thanks for your comments about it. By the way, it's black in color with gold trim and gold pickups and tuning keys. David

It's not an authentic black beauty is it? That would make me cry. LOL If so, it truly would pay for a college education ... but even for that I don't think I could ever sell it if I owned it. You're a lucky man!!
