Here are some more ornaments I've been making in between chemo sessions. You can't really see the sparkle but it's there. The snowy looking stuff is Snow Tex. Some are natural wood, some stained wood and obviously some painted. Now that chemo is over and surgery coming up, I'm really looking forward to getting back to making intarsia. Thanks for looking.

G'day Chris,
Excellent pieces, you do a great painting job.

Glad to hear mountain one has been climbed, after this I'm sure the next will only be a small hill.

Chris,
Last fall I also spent my "good" days between treatments in the shop and used the scroll saw as something that could help clear my head, as well as be an enjoyable way to spend my time off work. It was great therapy. Now that I am through all my treatments, surgeries, etc. and I have received a clean bill of health, I still find the shop the place I like to go for the "me" time I need.

Keep smiling and things will always seem better.

Lois

Chris
I like the ornaments and your painting. Scrolling is a very good therapy isn't it? Just you, the saw and the wood, self expression and enjoyment can't get much better.
