Nice work Steve. They all have a good resemblance of the original pictures.

Stevie. welllll. Gosh Little brother. but mmmmmmm was you in a hurry here. sorry , but, I know you have been busy and all. but I have seen better work from you. dang, to me, it looks like you just whipt these out in a hurry. the
resemblance is there,. but sorry, I think you can and have done better. I hate being the bad guy, but that is my opinion. the lines are way to wide, and the hair to thick, and the folks don't , well look soft. they look hard, sorry, and what happend to the puppys in the sencond picure? the last one looks pretty good. i love your work. and still love the frames.
Evie

Hi Evie, I do not consider that you are being the bad guy by voicing your opinion. I always do svereal renditions of a pattern first and make changes according to what my customers want. These patterns are strictly what the customers was were satisfied with. The first two are for the same customer and as I stated in the first post she did not want the dogs in the photo. On the note that the lines are to thick, I agree but I have to give the customer what they desire not what I want. Thanks for the comments. Steve

G'day Steve,
The scrolling is good,(and as per Evie's conv. "The customer is always right") but what has fascinated me for a while has been your frames.
Do you make them yourself.
If you do they are great.
Now depending on the answer to above standby for questions

Hi John, yes I do make my own frames and that is my own design on those. I call it my "TREEBARK" design. Thanks for the compliments on the scrollings and the frames. If I remember correctly the tutorial on those frames will be in an article in the fall of next year. I can not discuss the technique that I use on those frames as SSWC is doing an article on them. Bob D could tell you for sure when that tutorial is to be published. Sorry I can not go into that further. Steve
